Separate Credits wallet
Credits persist in ForgeMarket's own database. The plugin does not mint money on login or automatically share another plugin's balance. Operators can grant funds to online players with /fmarket credit PlayerName 100.00. Grants are audited.
Buyers review payments and purchase totals before confirming. Sellers can receive proceeds while offline. The configured transaction fee is removed from seller proceeds and retired; it is not paid to an administrator.
Optional Vault bridge
Install Vault and a compatible economy provider, enable the bridge and restart on Paper/Purpur. The wallet adds reviewed deposit/withdraw buttons only when a provider is found. One external currency unit exchanges for one credit. This is an explicit bank transfer, not automatic shared balances or a Vault economy provider for other plugins.
Provider precision is checked before calling it. An unconfirmed response is held for staff review and is never automatically retried. The pure transfer/recovery adapter has unit coverage; a real third-party economy provider has not been qualified in this preview. Test deposits, withdrawals and failure recovery with your chosen provider before enabling them for players. Folia disables the bridge because arbitrary providers' region safety is unverified.
Storage and recovery
market.sqlite stores wallets, shops, offers, inventory reservations, receipts, deliveries, promotions and audit records using SQLite WAL and full synchronization. Checkout commits money, marketplace stock and delivery records in one database transaction. Repeated confirmation cannot charge the same receipt twice.
Minecraft player inventory files and external economy providers cannot join that database transaction. A crash in the gap can leave an uncertain transfer. ForgeMarket holds it for staff instead of blindly repeating it. Read Backup and recovery before operating a public economy. This is not a claim of lossless crash recovery.
Back up the whole plugin data directory with the server stopped, together with the world/player files from the same point in time. Never copy only a live SQLite file and omit its WAL. There is no supported multi-server shared database mode.
