Getting Started

Installation

DungeonForge · 1.2.0

Server Requirements

  • Server Software: Paper, Folia, or Purpur; see the tested API targets and runtime limits
  • API build baseline: Paper 1.20.1
  • Java Version: Java 21 or newer as required by your chosen server
⚠️ Important

Folia users must configure an unused arena area in an already loaded secondary world. Follow the Folia setup guide before starting a dungeon. Paper uses the existing world backend.

Installation Steps

  1. Stop your server
  2. Back up your plugin data and worlds, then obtain DungeonForge-1.1.0.jar from the release package. Remove the older DungeonForge JAR before installing the new one.
  3. Place the JAR file in your plugins/ folder
  4. Start the server to generate config files
  5. (Recommended) Restart after making config changes
